Fitting Instructions:
- Measure width of door
in the closed position.
- Exitex brush strip
consists of two
components. Each
component must be cut
separately. By applying
gentle pressure the insert
will slide out of its carrier.
Cut the outer carrier with
a hacksaw and the bristle
insert with side cutting
pliers. (This method of
cutting the bristle ensures
the individual bristles are
retained in their holder).
- Reassemble the brush
strip - a slight bend of the
bristle insert will retain it
in its carrier.
- Lightly screw to the
door. Remember to leave
sufficient slack to allow
for final adjustment.
- Adjust strip vertically
until bristle firmly strokes
floor covering. Tighten
screws.
