Fitting Instructions:
- Ensure that the legs of the doorframe are shaped to receive the MTB Tie as a snug fit.
- Cut MTB Tie Bar to length then drill holes into the underside V channels to receive fixing screws will secure the MTB Tie Bar to the doorframe. Timber blocks secured into the legs of a uPVC doorframe provide excellent fixings.
- Using Exitex Elast-O-Sealant block off the drainage gully which will be covered by the legs of the doorframe - This will ensure that no moisture penetrates into the building via the doorframe section.
- Smear the End Caps with Exitex Elast-O-Sealant pressing them into position at both ends of the MTB Tie Bar - Gentle taps will ensure they are completely seated, providing a positive seal. Smooth any surplus sealant.
